Virgilio's Receives a $2,900 donation from a generous  customer that wants to remain anonymous to meet their goal of $15,020.

Wow!  The generosity and support we receive on a daily basis is simply an amazing testament to the kind of people our family of customers truly are.  It's overwhelming, to be honest.

So most of you know, we raised $12,004 for The Children's Hospital at our Italian Festival.  Our goal was $15,000, but $12,004 was truly an amazing and outstanding figure to raise.  Last week, a customer stopped by to thank us for running the event, and while he couldn't make it over, wanted to contribute and he gave me a $100 check for The Children's Hospital.  That raised our total to $12,104.  Then, later in the week, I was visited by a truly amazing woman.  She was proudly in her 70's and the day before she had lost a person very dear and close to her.  She sat at the counter with me and told me about this, and then she said that she knew we didn't reach our $15,000 goal at our Festival and in honor and memory of her friend, she wanted to make up the difference to get us to $15,000.  She wrote me a check, on the spot, for $2,896, and this week we were able to hand over a check to The Children's Hospital for a whopping $15,000!

While this kind and generous woman wishes to remain anonymous, I wanted to share this story as yet another example of the power of the human spirit, and to thank you all for being such loyal supporters of Virgilio's Pizzeria Napoletana.

Thank you all, and I hope to see you in here soon enjoying the best pizza, knots, calzones and homemade mozzarella west of NYC!

To all of our loyal followers,

I want to take a moment to personally thank you and express my heartfelt gratitude for your support of Virgilio's Italian Festival last weekend.  Thanks to your generosity, our event raised $12,004 for The Children's Hospital!  That will certainly help a lot of families.  By supporting Virgilio's Italian Festival, you showed what is most important in these times - being amongst friends and families and pulling together.  We are happy to have taken the lead on that, but without you, our event would not have been so successful and so much fun.

I also want to personally thank our generous neighborhood partners who donated so much of their products, time and enthusiasm as well.  Without them, this event would not have been such an overwhelming success either!

And of course, a huge thank you to our wonderful entertainers who also volunteered their time and talents to make this a weekend to remember!

Lastly, to the staff and volunteers of our restaurant, Virgilio's Pizzeria Napoletana, we could not have done this without you.  You are why we are simply the best pizza in Colorado and why we have such a strong and rabidly loyal group of followers!  Thank you.
